My name is Kody…if you hadn’t worked it out already :D
I am a photographer and actor. My experience having worked on both sides of the camera I’ve learnt that capturing the essence of you is the top priority.
I specialise in headshots and portrait photography using both
Digital and Film formats.
Using both these formats, I really enjoy, as it gives you a wide range of possibilities to accentuate your individual style and uniqueness.
Being an actor myself, I’ve had the privilege working in the West End, National Theatre and the RSC to name a few. Being in these spaces has taught me what current professional actors are looking for in their headshots/portraits. Having this insight is invaluable. This is why my only aim is making sure your photos are the best and most professional they can be.

FAQs and T&C’s
Location?
Studio in Tottenham Hale, London.

how to get here etc when you book with me via email.)
How many edits do I get?
Headshots package: 3 edits
Portrait package: 5 edits
Digital & Film package: 7 edits
Can I get more edits?
Of course! Any extra images exceeding
your chosen package limit
will be £25 per photo.
When will I receive my images to view?
You will receive a gallery of your
unedited photos usually
within 24 hours after your session.
When will I receive my
edited images?
You will receive your final edited photos within 14 days of me receiving your payment/favourites.
How long do you keep images for?
I will keep your RAW photos and gallery for a maximum of 6 months. After this, they will be permanently deleted.
Editing
My editing aim is to keep you looking as true to you as I can. If you’re not quite satisfied with your images and have notes, please email them to me. (Warning) I will only re-edit images once. Please do not edit your images yourself as it is not a true reflection of my work.
Should you choose the package that includes film photos, I will hardly re-touch these as keeping the aesthetic of film is the priority.
How/when do I Pay?
Payment details will be sent via email
after choosing your package and we’ve agreed on a time.
You will be asked to pay a non-refundable deposit within 24 hours of receiving the email to confirm your session, otherwise it will be released.
The remaining balance then needs to be paid no later than 72 hours before your session.
Socials & Sharing
If sharing your images on social media, please credit me using ‘Kody Mortimer Photography’ and/or if you want to tag me on Instagram, use @kodymortimerphotography.
For spotlight and professional services/sites, please credit ‘Kody Mortimer Photography’.
What If I need to cancel/rearrange my session?
You can rearrange once, 72 hours before your session.
Rearranging within 72 hours will require a new deposit. Cancelling within 72 hours will mean losing 25% of your total session fee.
Cancelling within 24 hours will mean losing 50% of your total session fee.
Cancelling on the day of your session will mean
losing your total session fee.
Photographer rearrangement
In the unlikely event of myself needing to rearrange due to personal or work needs, I can rearrange our session no later than 72 hour before. In this case, I will email you to work out a new date to do the session. In an emergency, I will be able to cancel on the day.
Liability & Disclaimers
I cannot be held liable for any injuries, or damages that may occur. Clients participate in the session at their own risk. I aim for the best in every aspect of my work, however, I can’t guarantee specific outcomes or results from the session as individual preferences and expectations may vary.
Late Policy
If you are more than 25 minutes late to a session, the session will be automatically cancelled and you will have to pay a ‘No-Show’ fee of £75. I will then require another non-refundable deposit in order for you to book another session with me.
What to prepare?
If wearing make-up, please come with it on ready. However, things happen and there is a bathroom and also mirrors in the studio for any touch ups you may require. Please do remember your session time is for your photos. There won’t be any added time to do your make up.
If you need to shave for a different look, there are sinks in the bathroom. Please choose the ‘Portrait’ or ‘Digital & Film’ package as this allows enough time.
Clothes to bring?
Bring what makes you feel comfortable, however, I would suggest erring towards less patterned clothing. Something more simple with some colour that complements your skin tone and eye colour will work wonderfully.

Dont be :) I have had my fair share of headshot sessions done myself, so I know exactly how you feel. I will make sure you feel comfortable and relaxed and I will stick on your favourite tunes in the background.
